We only collect the personal information that allows us to provide and communicate the service and products that our customers expect from us.
BeFab defines personal information as information that could be used to identify you or another individual. We collect personal information in a number of different ways, we will explain further on in “How we use your personal information” how we collect the information and how it will be used
Information you share with us
We collect personal information that you share with us when you contact us or interact with us through our website (placing an order), email, phone, and in person at stands or events we attend. During these interactions you may share with us your Name, Business Name, address, email, phone number and payment information when buying a product or service from BeFab Be Creative. We will only ever ask for information that is pertinent to the service / sale we are providing our customers.
Information from your online interactions
BeFab will collect and store some anonymous, aggregate statistics from all visitors to our website whether you actively provide us with that information or merely browse our website. The information we collect includes the internet protocol (IP) address of the device you are using, the browser software you use, your operating system, the date and time of access, the internet address of the website from which you link through to our website and information on how you use our websites or apps.
We use this information so that we can see how well our website is working, how it is used and what our users look at most. In addition we also collect information about how our customers engage with our promotional campaigns / advertising online, outside of our own websites (for example, on Google, YouTube and on social media).
As a user of our services who has opted in to our email communications, we will send communications by e-mail only as long as you are happy for us to do so. You can find out how to update or change whether you would like to hear from us, or stop us contacting you, in the section below titled ‘How can you change the way that we contact you?'
We collect information about how our customers engage with our email communications, this includes, whether they were successfully delivered, whether it was opened, if links to relevant information regarding our service contained within the email were clicked and whether you have advised us not to contact you anymore by using the unsubscribe option which is included in all our email communications to our customers.
This information allows us to ensure that we stop sending your email communications when you ask us to, it also allows us to ensure that our email content is interesting and informative as possible.
Social Media is an important way for us to interact with people / customers regarding our services, due to our service being very much a visual service. You can use our social media channels to contact us or let people know what you think of our service and products. It is a mechanism to allow our customers and ourselves to have a conversation that in turn allows us to better understand our customers and their requirements.
The information we collect from social media and online sites, including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, sometimes includes personal information that has been put online and is publically available. We make sure any information we use is properly credited to its source or is made anonymous.
These online and social media sites typically have their own privacy policies explaining how they use and share your personal information. You should carefully review those privacy policies before you use these sites to make sure that you are happy with how your personal information is being collected and shared.
Information we collect at events we may attend
You may share personal information with us when you visit us in person at our studio or events that we may attend; such information includes your name, contact details (see the section above titled "Information you share with us").
We may also film or take photographs at events/exhibitions, we will always display notices at these events to advise you that this may be the case

The main reason for collecting and using your personal information is to allow us to deliver our service and products to our customers, where appropriate improve our service/products and our customer experience.

If you hadn’t previously asked us to send you marketing communications, you can ask us to start contacting you (sometimes called an "opt-in") by:
Going to the BeFab Be Creative website and entering your email address to the “Subscribe to our Newsletter” or if you are placing an order on our website you will be given the option to “Opt In” subscribe to our newsletter.
Changes to your preferences

BeFab Be Creative will never sell our customers data to 3rd parties.
Links to third party websites – we may provide links to other websites that are not operated or controlled by BeFab. We have no control and are not responsible for the content on these sites, the 3rd parties are responsible for how they collect and use your personal information, these websites should have their own privacy policies and explain how your personal data is used. We do not endorse or make any representations about 3rd party websites.
Personal Information how long do we keep it?
We will delete customer records for those customers who have not interacted with BeFab outwith a 2-year period, including placing an order or opening a marketing email.
Customer / Client Controls and Choices
BeFab where possible will give you control over the personal information we collect about you, to ensure it is accurate and reflects your preferences. You have the right to access, update and amend personal information that we hold about you. If you would like to change the way that we contact you, see the section above titled 'Change the way that we contact you about our products, services and support?'
In certain circumstances, you can also:
- Object to our use of your personal information for certain purposes;
- Ask us to limit or restrict our use of your personal information;
- Ask us to correct, remove or delete personal information about you; or
- Ask us to provide your personal information to a third party provider of services.

How do we protect your personal information?
BeFab is committed to protecting your personal information. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, a combination of physical and IT security controls including encryption, to protect your personal information and privacy, and these are reviewed regularly. We also ensure staff are trained in protecting your information.
In the very unlikely event that we do suffer a security breach that compromises the protection of your personal information and we need to let you know about it, we will do so.
